JC Curb Appeal LLC is veteran owned and operated serving Fuquay Varina, NC and surrounding areas. Owner's Jason and Cristin Snook have 3 boys, 2 teens that are eager to start working. We are both proud veteran's of the US army and served in the early 2000's. Both are currently employed in the medical field. Cristin is an Ultrasound Technologist, and Jason a Radiation Therapist. As we both enjoy our careers in those fields we also have a passion of creating beautiful concrete curbs and landscapes to bring value to our clients homes or businesses. The Answers You Need
Why choose concrete curbing over other choices of landscape borders/edging?
Concrete curbing is far more durable than other choices. Steel will rust, wood will rot, and plastic will crack. Concrete curbing is far superior to keeping your grass from invading your landscapes and keeping your rocks or mulch in your beds where they belong. Concrete will have no seams all the way through the curb where grass can grow between. It is the best boundary to keep rock or mulch in your beds and out of your yard.
Will the curbing equipment damage my property?
No, all of our equipment is on the smaller side, no larger than basic lawn equipment. We will treat your landscape like it’s our own. We promise to leave your landscape looking better than when we showed up!
Is the curb stained or painted?
Neither! We use integral colors mixed in with the concrete mix. This is a huge benefit, if the concrete were to ever chip it is colored through out the curb. We also use colored release agents to achieve the gorgeous undertones of the curb.

Will it crack?
Concrete will likely crack. We put control joints in every 1,5 to 3 feet to control the cracks. We also use fiber mixed in with the concrete as well 1/8” steel cable for added strength.
How long does concrete edging last?
Concrete edging will last many years with proper care and Maintenence (20-30+). One of the biggest enemies of concrete is moisture. To combat this we use a commercial grade concrete sealer to protect and beautify your curb. To help ensure a long lasting beautiful curb we recommend resealing every 2 years. This can easily be done by the homeowner but if you prefer we can set you up on a maintenence program!
